Inner Sphere Wars System Requirements

CPU:	Pentium or AMD equivalent system of 800 Mhz and up (1 Gighz Recommended)
OS:	Windows 2000/XP (REQUIRED - Windows 98 &ME Can be used, but Support is limited)
RAM:	512 Meg Ram (1 Gig Recommended) ISW Uses approx 260 MB of RAM
Hard Drive:	2 Gig minimum Hard drive space on "C" drive ISW Will use over 2 GB with all projected Map Packs and Terrain Files when completed
Video:	Direct X Capable Video Card
Network:	Network Card or Modem. ISW Does not require DSL or Cable Modems to Play, however Combat Experience is enhanced with higher connection rates

Due to limitations on capability requirements of Windows 98, ISW might not function properly in Win 98 and ME environments nor do we offer technical assistance for operating systems below Windows 2000 due to minimal programmers available for ISW development.

Common Problems in ISW

Automation Errors - Download and install the Microsoft VB Runtime SP6

SQL Connect or Database Errors - Download and install the current Microsoft Data Access Components

Unspecific Errors - Ensure your windows installation has the current updates and then download and install both stated above.

VB Runtimes SP 6

Istalls service pack 6 of the vb runtimes, and can help with errors when running ISW, especially on Windows 98 / ME / 2000 machines.

Some configurations have problems with the runtime installations. If ISW is already working correctly for you, you should not install these files.

Data Access Components

Data access components required by Windows 98 / ME, and can help with errors when running ISW, especially on Windows 98 / ME machines and XP Machines without SP2 or with a corrupted data access portion of SP2.

Updater Problems

If you have problems with the updater, you can always grab the file manually from our downloads section of the main ISW Website.

After you download this zip file, extract it and overwrite your old exe in your ISW directory and your good to go. Although we would recommend the updater if you can use it.

Verison ISP Users

Most Verison ISP users have problems playing MW4 online. The Problem is a Direct Play issue with the Verizon Westell Modem.

You have to gain access to your Modem and configure it to alow MSN gaming zone(dxplay7 and dxplay8) this id found in the pull down menu for configuring the modem.
